Woodward Printing Services has a long heritage within the greater Woodward Communications, Inc. that is traced back to the first newspaper in Iowa, The Dubuque Visitor, founded in 1896. ESOP Philosophy

At Woodward Printing Services, we are all employee-owners of the business, and as owners we have your best interests in mind. Our ownership comes from a special retirement plan called an ESOP or Employee Stock Ownership Plan. After we have been here for one year, each of us begins to receive stock in the company. The stock accumulates, tax-deferred each year, in a trust account for our individual and collective benefit. When we leave the company, we sell our stock back and the cash we receive gives us a nice nest egg for retirement. Because our stock value increases when the company does better, each of us takes special care to do what we can to provide the best products and services our customers need and want. When your business is successful, we are successful, too!
